i watched o brother where art thou? today and full metal jacket and the second really disturbed me (it’s about dehumanization and basically being desensitized and that is something that really frightens me) and i really want to rewatch o brother where art thou? so i can better understand it. seeing beautifully filmed movies really makes me want to make movies but i’m not exactly a master storyteller so that’s not really in my future. maybe i’ll take another film and new media class in the spring or something.
